So was it okay if we chose to do more than one topic for the research assigment?

Yes! You can do more than one.

You all need to post a name with each comment. That's how it works! Otherwise they will be deleted.

And if you have any concerns about the class, you need to come and speak with me face to face like a regular person instead of making anonymous comments on the blog. I will take what you have into consideration, if you approach me as a real person.

How do you know we are going to leave our real names at the bottom? I mean, I could leave His Majesty Josh Merrell's name at the bottom of this comment if I were totally okay with lying about it and he would never know because he never checks the blog anyway.

Josh Merrell

It should be specified that you wouldn't be sure that was me if I hadn't said "His Majesty".

Thanks for that point, Sir Josh. I guess I still live in "Delusion Land" because some part of me has hope that people, yes, even young High School people, will be honest.

Here's hoping...I mean, you guys are the future! :)

Politicalcynic said...

Delusion land? No. I live in the same reality. As for the future, it is in good hands. I grow up and start worrying about the next generation, just the same as every other generation always has.

As for my observation concerning potential deceptive cowardice, I feel guilty now. I did not mean to thrust forth the phantasm of an eccentric cynic into the responsible domain of the congenial individuals present on your blog. My apologies.

Haha... oh my goodness josh...

"Oh my goodness josh"...what a timid way of saying you are struck speechless at the quality of my post. I suppose it’s braver than everybody else’s way of saying it…but you didn’t even post your name. State your name or be forever dubbed a lily-livered underling by his Excellency!

Seriously. Miss Benincosa had just barely convinced me that the real High School (referred to as "delusion land") had honest folks who would post their names......and then here comes this pusillanimous, chickenhearted craven that completely shatters my expectations. I am so disappointed in your lack of dependability.

Josh, i want to give you extra credit simply for your astonishing, astounding, fantastic, fantastical, incredible, marvelous, miraculous, phenomenal, prodigious, stupendous, unbelievable, wonderful, wondrous, and amazing vocabulary.

It's been a long time since someone said "lily-livered"

Politicalcynic said...

All those positive words! How do you do that? I can only say words that big when I’m being scornful or contentious.

Politicalcynic said...

Wait...wonderful AND wondrous? Both at the same time? You don't say!!!

how long is the presentations going to last on thursday?

Anonymous said...

Oh, WOW. Suck up. :P

Miss Bee said...

I am hoping to keep it to a half hour! No questions!!! Just presentations and a vote!

Politicalcynic said...

Zak...I'm going to give you a big slap next time you interrupt my cynical, radical rodomontade.

Miss Bee said...

Josh, you are now responsible for creating the vocabulary list for next years tenth graders!

Politicalcynic said...

I

I hate it when I accidentally post before I'm done!

Anyway, I'd be more than happy to cackle up some vocab tests for those miserable 10th grade wretches next year.
